To do so however, you have to be choosy when it comes to selecting an affiliate program. Not just any program should do

1. The first thing to consider when choosing an affiliate program is not to register with a scam site. I have made this mistake thrice and there is nothing that hurts than to work long hours and get no rewards for your efforts.

One of these was an overhyped affiliate opportunity that was so well marketed that I could not see the scam in it. Others were two CPA programs which were basically fly by night. I never earned a cent despite the long hours and sacrifices I put into them.

3. Target a product that has a compelling sales page. Is the copy compelling enough for it to convert visitors to buyers? Are you yourself compelled to buy?

4. The fourth reason is partly related to the third which is to target a product that you believe will sell or better still, one you believe in. Simply selling a product you believe will sell may be greed but selling a product you believe in is better as you will have motivation selling it. You can convince others to buy.
